Enigma in linea «At the well»

Under overhanging willow — gray and beautiful,
Under the Windows and shutters, and recent logs
the Well of old stone, as if in a wounded heart...
But all is the king-bird with cool water.

I will pick up half a bucket, wash the sleepy eyes
and drink like a honey forest, water key.
Deeds of my sinful deeds and dashing, cantankerous
You, mother darling, please, take with you.

Under overhanging willow, under a sky blue ash
Well again fantastically filled with water.
